As an illustration portfolio example, this book showcases Uttara’s whimsical style and thoughtful storytelling.

Thea, a young girl, finds herself feeling sad—and soon, a Sadness Monster begins following her. The more her sadness grows, the bigger the monster becomes. Through simple mindfulness techniques, Thea learns how to face her feelings and gently send the Sadness Monster away.
